IT Local Operations Support

Your activities
We are seeking a Senior level IT Local Operations Support Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity in Continental Automotive Guadalajara.  This role will be onsite/in the office.

In this role, he/she provides a second and third level of end-user support for IT operations and services remotely and onsite.

Additional responsibilities could include: 

Assistance in handling simple problems or generic 'how to' questions.
Qualify Monitoring and backup of local databases.
Problem solving 2nd level support tickets for software and troubleshooting.
Problem solving 2nd level support tickets for servers and storage infrastructure.
Validation, authorization and purchase of local software license.
Servers and storage administration.
Data Center monitoring, testing and maintenance.
Providing support for Virtual Machines ( Windows and Linux).
Cloud service management 1st level.
Finance Control and Support Contracts Management for software development. and data center infrastructure
License software monitoring and policy assurance.
Controls for unwanted software and allocations of licenses applications and SAP accounts.
Management of internal projects of software developments.
Identification and implementation of potential improvements to internal processes.
Automation of internal processes.
 

Requerimientos:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering
Minimum 3+ years’ experience of application development and management de of IT Services.
Additional languages: English (Intermediate Level).
Ability to manage customers.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Problem-solving and analytical skills.
Innovative and enterprising.
Flexible and agility.
Negotiation skills.
Analytical mind-set.
Positive and proactive attitude.
Responsible and committed.
